Fortescues Perth office is located on the traditional lands of the Whadjuk people.Roster: Monday to Friday.Reporting directly to the Corporate Accounting Manager, this role will be primarily responsible for revenue and accounts receivable processing, reporting and analysis supported by a Senior Revenue Accountant. You will play a key role and work closely with internal stakeholders and a dynamic and exciting global Finance team.To be successful in this role you will need a keen eye for detail, apply critical thinking to new challenges and ability to adapt to changing priorities in a fast-paced environmentKey ResponsibilitiesMaintain accounts receivable records to ensure aging is up to date, credits and collections are applied, uncollectible amounts are accounted for, and miscellaneous differences are clearedPerform accounting for regular bank clearingReconciliation of intercompany transactions and balancesCollect, verify and process non trade invoicingPrepare analysis and period reportingContribute to the development of financial controls and processes.Qualifications and ExperienceA tertiary degree in accountingCA or CPA qualification or close to completionExperience with financial accounting, management accounting, audit, or the application of IFRS/AASBStrong Excel and Microsoft Office skills are highly desirableExcellent problem-solving skillsAbility to work within tight deadlines.
