Were seeking a Warehouse Manager to oversee our biosecurity facility responsible for post-harvest treatment of fruit and vegetable produce in Pooraka. This is a 12-month fixed-term contract and a newly created leadership role reporting directly to the CEO. An excellent opportunity to make a significant impact.Key Responsibilities:Warehouse & Biosecurity OperationsOversee fumigation facility operations in accordance with SOPs, WHS, and ICA04 protocols.Maintain biosecurity standards, documentation, and JLB compliance systems.Collaborate with TRICAL and contractors to ensure seamless post-harvest services.Develop SOPs and manage risk and compliance with the Operations / Compliance Manager.Ensure Chain of Responsibility (NHVR) and AS/NZS 4801 compliance.Lead, engage, and develop a high-performing team.Manage rosters, timesheets, training, and performance evaluations.Identify skills gaps and facilitate ongoing development.Promote a safe and professional workplace culture.Unloading Services ManagementOversee unloading operations, stakeholder engagement, service delivery, and pallet management.Ensure compliance with CHEP agreements and manage forklift and equipment servicing.Implement SOPs, incident reporting, and performance improvement initiatives.Conduct annual price reviews and manage unloading budget targets.Business DevelopmentIdentify growth opportunities in post-harvest treatment, unloading, logistics, and pallet storage.Drive profitability and build strong customer relationships.Provide monthly WHS and logistics reports to the CEO.Participate in management and compliance meetings.Escalate biosecurity issues as necessary.Qualifications & Skills:Minimum 5 years'' experience in warehouse management or logistics, including team supervision.Strong leadership and team development skills.Hands-on, systematic approach with high attention to detail.Proven track record of improving operational performance and achieving KPIs.Excellent communication, problem-solving, and time management skills.Intermediate to advanced Excel skills and warehouse reporting experience are required. A current C Class Drivers Licence is essential.
