These include finance, digital services and ICT, information management and security, governance, procurement, human resources, workplace health and safety, and facilities services. The division also plays a role in frontline delivery of grant programs.About The RoleYou will provide high-level support to the Chief Financial Officer (CFO) and operate as a trusted business partner for QRA''s Executive and Leadership teams. Your role includes establishing and maintaining the highest standards of governance, risk management, planning, and performance.Establish a holistic Corporate Governance and Performance function, including frameworks, policies, procedures, tools, and structures, and lead monitoring and reporting activities.Develop and maintain collaborative relationships with internal and external stakeholders to support effective governance and performance delivery.Oversee and implement governance committees to ensure statutory compliance, risk management, operational performance, and strategic prioritisation.Promote best practice Governance and Performance initiatives to enhance agency capability and performance.Implement project delivery and enterprise change frameworks aligned with QRA''s strategic and operational priorities.Produce high-quality reports and briefing materials for QRA''s board, executive, and committees.Provide strategic analysis and advice to the CFO and leadership team.Lead a multidisciplinary team to deliver Governance and Performance programs aligned with organisational goals.Ensure understanding of Queensland Government legislative frameworks and policies.Foster a culture of compliance, continuous improvement, and learning.Undertake related duties and represent the CFO in meetings and forums as appropriate.This role reports directly to the CFO and includes managing staff.QRA''s workforce is agile and responsive to disaster priorities.
