Were seeking a Studio Assistant to join our team and to assist the photography process and needs of the weekly catalogue and campaign-based work for BMF. In this role, Assist the photographer in the weekly catalogue and campaign needs for shoots and help build, maintain sets and props, and manage preparation of all set and art department requirements.Role and ResponsibilitiesAssist the photographer in the weekly catalogue and campaign needs for shoots.Maintaining camera and lighting equipmentRemoving labels from products where required prior to photographingHelp build, maintain sets and props, and manage preparation of all set and art department requirementsBeing present for weekly Pre-production meetings and confirming prop and set requirements with the art director and producer for each set to avoid time delays or reshootsSourcing set materials requiredPainting and or treatment of backgrounds, flats, and sets as neededMoving backgrounds, flooring surfaces, flats and furniture into position on set, based on the weekly scampsBreak-down of sets and placing items back in their correct storage locationProduct management return of products to correct shelves after shooting.Assist photographers and producers with pre and post shoot planning of photography and content productionAssist the producer with coordination of crew, stylists, makeup artist and talent within the shoot, ensuring that they all have a clear and comfortable space to work in.Support creative process by ensuring that products are constructed properly in advance.Provide clear and concise feedback on issues which may affect timely delivery or quality issues that may affect production.Work with producers to ensure a clear briefing process to reduce reshoots.Ensure a clear understanding of and contribute to the weekly briefing process to reduce reshoots.Maintain equipment register currency.
