Job Description

We are looking for a Ramp Supervisor for our Perth Airport, Western Australia operation.The core purpose of the Ramp Supervisor is to lead a small team of ramp service members to service aircraft turnarounds safely and efficiently, following all safety operating procedures. This role involves maximizing performance and fostering a positive culture across safety, efficiency, and reliability, while exceeding the service expectations of Aus Flight Handlings clients (airlines) and their customers. The successful candidate will focus on continuous development and operational improvement, building and maintaining strong teams where employees feel valued, recognized, and engaged.Main ResponsibilitiesLeadership & CultureEnsure the team has the tools and equipment needed for their roles, including justifying procurement of additional tools/equipment.Communicate operational and business-related information effectively to the team.Ensure the team meets key performance criteria.Uphold staff discipline and compliance with Aus Flight Handling, client, and regulatory procedures and policies.Lead a culture of equality, fairness, transparency, and zero tolerance for bullying, discrimination, and harassment.OperationalDemonstrate decision-making and organizational skills to meet performance requirements and maintain operational integrity.Ensure the team achieves key performance indicators such as on-time performance, baggage handling, GSE maintenance, SOP adherence, service quality, and compliance.Maintain high standards of passenger service.Ensure smooth operations with a proactive approach.Identify operational weaknesses proactively and implement corrective actions.Provide OH&S supervision and guidance.Assist with operational duties as needed.Desired Qualifications/ExperienceAbility to influence a team to achieve positive outcomes.Ability to work independently with initiative and motivation, completing tasks thoroughly and on time.Knowledge of Australian aviation regulations and airport and airline policies.Understanding of OH&S frameworks and principles.Results-oriented mindset.Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.Strong planning and organizational skills.Strategic thinking ability.Excellent problem-solving and decision-making skills.Commitment to learning and growth.Proven ability to build relationships for influence.Locations: PerthDepartments: Operations #J-18808-Ljbffr
