Within the group, Robert Plumb Management provides professional shared services across all companies including safety, human resources, operations, finance and accounting.Safety is a key priority in our organisation, and we are seeking a hands on, experienced Health & Safety Advisor to lead our safety initiatives. This crucial role involves auditing, reviewing, and implementing best practice safety operations, ensuring compliance across all sites. With a strong focus on protecting the health and well-being of our employees and visitors, the Health & Safety Advisor will develop, implement, and continuously improve our safety policies and procedures.Key responsibilitiesAct as the subject matter expert for WHS across the Collective.Audit, review, update, and implement safety policies and procedures.Conduct regular site safety walks, audits, and inspections.Provide training and guidance to employees on safety practices.Investigate incidents, manage injury and case management, and recommend corrective actions.Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal regulations.Develop and implement WHS management plans.Conduct risk analysis and reviews.Build and maintain strong relationships with employees, subcontractors, and all stakeholders.Determine and implement project-specific risk controls.Conduct risk assessments and enforce preventative measures.Maintain emergency response plans.Oversee the selection and use of PPE.Ensure safety and first aid equipment is well-maintained and accessible.Manage SWMS, toolbox talks, and all safety-related forms, documentation, and processes.RequirementsCertificate/Diploma/Tertiary Qualification in Work Health and SafetyIn depth knowledge of local, state, and federal WHS legislation and proceduresExperience in similar position within construction servicesProficient in Office 365 (Word, Excel, Outlook), online databases, forms, apps etc.Working knowledge of safety management information systems beneficialNSW Drivers LicenceWhite CardAbility to travel to multiple sites across NSWWhat we offerExcellent salaryFully maintained vehicle (ute)Full-time, permanent positionHigh-end residential construction services across NSWTo apply, please include a cover letter and your resume.
