And while they go after their goals, you can too. As a Senior Communications Specialist, you''ll ensure all our communications align with Australian Retirement Trusts brand tone of voice. You''ll refine messages for clarity, consistency, and impact across all channels, including leading verification reviews.You''ll handle high-visibility and high-stakes communications, manage crisis and urgent response comms, and lead tone of voice training. You''ll also champion AI-driven change, embedding AI tools into our communications and optimising AI-generated content. This role requires a strategic mindset, a deep understanding of language and audience engagement, and the ability to operate with urgency and precision in high-pressure situations.Day To Day, You''llMake sure all communications meet brand tone of voice guidelines, refining messages for clarity, consistency, and impact.Lead the development and execution of crisis and urgent communications to the Member Line of Business Audiences, ensuring alignment with leadership direction and audience needs.Design and deliver periodic training sessions to embed best practices and evolve the organisations communication style.Drive the adoption and effective use of AI tools in communications, ensuring seamless integration and user confidence.Develop and refine AI prompts to optimise generated content for accuracy, relevance, and tone consistency.Work closely with senior leaders, legal teams, and content creators to uphold communication standards and navigate sensitive messaging.Continuously assess the effectiveness of communications, using insights to refine approaches and enhance impact.Establish and maintain guidelines and processes for tone of voice, AI-assisted content creation, and crisis communications.This role offers a 12-month max-term or secondment opportunity, with the potential for extension or permanency, and is based in Brisbane.About YouIt goes without saying you''ll be a great communicator with top notch interpersonal skills. It''s quite likely you tick some of the following boxes too:Youre a proactive, creative thinker with strong analytical skills and a proven track record of producing content that delivers measurable results.You have experience in content strategy, digital marketing, or a related role, with a proven track record of success.Your writing, editing, and storytelling skills are exceptional, and you can adapt tone and style for different audiences.You have deep expertise in SEO, content optimization, and performance-driven content marketing strategies.Youre familiar with content management systems (CMS) such as WordPress and marketing automation platforms.You have strong knowledge of analytics tools (Google Analytics, SEMrush, Ahrefs) to measure content effectiveness.Youve got leadership experience and can mentor and develop junior team members.Your project management skills are excellent, and you can manage multiple initiatives simultaneously and meet deadlines.Youve worked in a fast-paced environment with cross-functional teams.You hold a Bachelors degree in Marketing, Communications, Journalism, English, or a related field.About UsOur 2.4 million members trust us to take care of over $330 billion in retirement savings.
