This role reports to the Executive General Manager, nbn Architecture.About the roleAs the General Manager, you will shape the future of nbns technology landscape by leading the development and evolution of its technology strategy, aligning it with corporate goals. You will collaborate with executives, strategy teams, and technical leaders to translate business priorities into a clear technology vision, guiding the enterprise towards being a leading wholesaler.You will oversee innovative research to inform strategy, explore emerging trends, and ensure bold, relevant thinking. Additionally, you will manage the development of enabling technologies through a focused engineering program, translating research into practical applications. Leading a talented team, you will foster a culture of curiosity, experimentation, and collaboration.About youYou likely have a strong background in technology strategy, with proven experience in setting and executing strategic visions within complex organizations. Your passion for technology and understanding of emerging trends, research methods, and agile practices are essential. You also have operational experience in technology roles, with a track record of turning ideas into tangible outcomes.You are an empathetic leader who can bring diverse teams together, navigate complexity with clarity, and communicate effectively across all levels.
