We are surrounded by fantastic, local produce and nestled in the fabulous Macedon wine region, offering some of the best food and wine in Regional Victoria. But we are more than just your usual pub - offering elevated pub fare, great local beers and wines, and professional, friendly, and memorable service. We are seeking an enthusiastic and experienced Assistant Venue Manager to join our team. As the Assistant Venue Manager, you will support the Venue Manager in overseeing daily operations, ensuring excellent customer service, and maintaining a high standard of food, beverage, and event service. You will help lead and motivate the team, assist with rostering, stock control, compliance, and drive a welcoming and professional atmosphere for our guests. Key Responsibilities: Support the Venue Manager in daily operations and team management Lead shifts, ensuring smooth service and guest satisfaction Assist with staff training, rostering, and performance management Oversee stock ordering, control, and venue presentation Ensure compliance with health, safety, and licensing requirements Help coordinate and deliver successful events and functions Foster a positive team culture and uphold The Farmers Arms strong reputation About You: Previous experience in hospitality management or supervisory roles Strong leadership and communication skills Hands-on, proactive, and solutions-focused Passion for customer service and creating memorable experiences Ability to work nights, weekends, and public holidays as required RSA and food safety certifications (or willingness to obtain) Job Benefits: This is a great opportunity to become part of a growing company, with potential for career advancement.
