Introduction:Full time roleDescription:Job DescriptionThis is a fulltime role located primarily in Townsville and AitkenvaleAs a Senior Parent Pathways Support Mentor at Bamara, you will play a crucial role in supporting and guiding parents to achieve their education and employment goals. Your primary responsibility will be to provide mentorship, advice, and assistance to parents who are participating in the Parent Pathways program. Your main tasks will include:Meeting with parents to assess their individual needs, goals, and challenges.Developing personalised pathways and plans to help parents overcome barriers to education and employment.Providing one-on-one mentorship and support to empower parents in achieving their education and employment objectives.Connecting parents with relevant community services, resources, and training opportunities.Monitoring progress and providing ongoing guidance to ensure parents remain on track towards their goals.Collaborating with internal teams and external partners to create holistic support networks for parents.Supporting the Regional Team Leader to manage day to day operations in the Townsville regionMentoring our Support MentorsThis position requires someone who is empathetic, patient, and understanding, with excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
