We are actively seeking a dynamic Pricing & Promotions Managerto join our Merchandise Team!About the role:The Pricing & Promotions Managert is newly created role, responsible for ensuring compliance with internal policies, industry standards, and regulatory requirements across all retail operations. This role will focus on practical implementation of compliance processes, audit trails, and risk mitigation strategies across merchandising, planning, store operations, and online functions. The successful candidate will work closely with various teams across Global Retail Brands to embed compliance into daily operations and support continuous improvement.Key responsibilities of the role will include but not be limited to:Ensure compliance with relevant retail regulations and industry standards without taking on a legal advisory roleUnderstand and oversee compliance reporting, including the SSRP report and EDMsDesign, implement, and monitor processes and procedures to prevent compliance breaches, such as incorrect communications that expose the business to riskDevelop proactive strategies to prevent compliance risks, learning from past incidentsMonitor compliance with implemented policies and initiate corrective actions where necessaryWork with teams to design practical solutions for risk mitigation in retail operationsEnsure employees at all levels understand compliance obligations and how to implement them in daily operationsCollaborate with merchandising, planning, store operations, and online teams to integrate compliance into day-to-day activitiesAbout you:Minimum of 2+ years of experience in risk and compliance management, preferably within retail or consumer goodsBachelors degree in Law, Business, Risk Management, or a related fieldStrong knowledge of ACCC regulations, Australian Consumer Law, and corporate governanceExcellent knowledge of regulatory compliance frameworks and risk management principlesStrong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detailAbility to develop and implement effective compliance policies and training programsThis full-time position offers the opportunity for a passionate and experienced Price and Promotions Specialist to join a fast-paced, highly dynamic Merchandise team and environment!
