By looking at our service, products and digital capabilities in an agile and collaborative way, we put the financial needs of our members at the forefront of what we do.Your New RoleAs a Lending Specialist, you will play a pivotal role in our retail branch network by building relationships with our members on base through delivery of exceptional member service while offering sound residential mortgage advice.You will work in collaboration with branch staff, regional lending peers and our credit team to provide and support a positive member experience during the largest and most exciting purchase our members make their home.In this role you will be expected but not limited to:Providing seamless end to end banking experienceMaking outbound calls to new and prospective membersCreating meaningful conversation with members by building trust and confidenceBuilding relationships within the Defence CommunityEducating our members to adopt and use digital banking toolsGrowing the Mortgage and Consumer lending portfoliosPartner with the Credit Team to ensure member expectations are met within a reasonable time period and within credit criteriaAbout YouMember experience is your passion, you put your members experience in front of everything else.You are results driven, self-motivated, a Go-Getter who is proactive yet flexible in operation who is also tech savvy! You will have strong retail lending experience, a solid knowledge of the local residential mortgage products and the real estate market within your regions.You possess the skill and ability to create new opportunities, convert leads and manage your pipeline. You enjoy engaging with members proactively via outbound calling.
