About The OPPORTUNITY We are hiring multiple Avionics Aircraft Maintenance Engineers to join our Fighter (Hawk) team within the Aerospace organization in Williamtown, NSW, reporting to the Team Lead. If you have recently completed a Certificate IV in Aeroskills Avionics apprenticeship or have extensive experience in Defence or Commercial Aircraft maintenance as a qualified Avionics Aircraft Maintenance Engineer, we want to hear from you. Key RESPONSIBILITIES Maintain, inspect, and diagnose faults in avionic systems and components. Experience with fixed and/or rotary wing aircraft in an aviation environment is preferred. Ensure maintenance meets all regulatory and airworthiness standards. Perform scheduled and unscheduled maintenance as directed by the Team Leader. Use and ensure documentation and data used during maintenance are authorized and compliant. Accurately record work details and obtain certification as required. Incorporate all relevant documentation for engineering advice, defect reporting, and updates. Report defects, deficiencies, and maintenance issues promptly to the Team Leader. Perform maintenance within delegated and authorized levels. Initiate quality, non-conformance, or defect reports as directed. About YOU Certificate IV in Aeroskills Avionics or equivalent (Mandatory). Australian Citizenship with the ability to obtain a Federal Government Security Clearance (Mandatory). Experience or strong interest in Defence Aircraft maintenance (Mandatory). Military or Civil Aviation Maintenance Licence (Highly Desirable). Understanding of Australian Defence Force aircraft maintenance regulations (Highly Desirable). Strong communication skills. Ability to work in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment. International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR) may affect eligibility based on nationality.
