Leading Hand Technician Launceston, TASCJD Equipment, the Tasmanian distributor for Kenworth, DAF, Fuso trucks, and Volvo Construction Equipment, is seeking an experienced HD Technician Leading Hand to join our team in Launceston.Excellent leadership and strong people skills are required, as you will be assisting and supporting your team in solving technical and operational problems.Duties and Responsibilities:Mentoring, leading, and directing the workshop teamDiagnosing, servicing, and repairing equipment to meet customer expectationsAssisting the service manager with job costing, quotations, and retail repairsMaintaining high standards of safety, quality, and customer service at all timesRequired skills/attributes:Australian recognised Heavy Diesel Motor mechanic trade certificateExcellent communication and interpersonal skillsA high level of self-motivation and ability to work without direct supervisionProven ability to identify and resolve problemsGood computer skills with standard PC programs and equipment diagnostic toolsExperience in maintenance, servicing, repairs, and rebuilds of heavy vehiclesExperience with electrical diagnostics and repairs (desirable)Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a solution-focused approachStaff Benefits:Free uniformsEAP ProgramStaff referral program $$$$About Us:Family-owned and operated, CJD Equipment is a unique workplace that recognises our strength as an organisation lies in our people.
