ORSR supports sport andrecreation organisations, councils and the community through thedevelopment of policy, programs and resources, the provision offunding, recreation and sport planning, infrastructure development,elite sport pathways and programs, and the promotion of physicalactivity.About the Division - Infrastructure and PlanningDivisionThe Infrastructure and Planning division provides a strategicand integrated approach towards the development and delivery ofrecreation and sport infrastructure and works to build diversity,strength, capacity and sustainability with industry clients and thecommunity. The division is responsible for a number of the State''skey sporting assets, including major sporting venues such asAdelaide Super-Drome and SA Athletics Stadium. It undertakesdevelopment planning, construction, project management, facilitiesmanagement, and recreation trails development andmanagement.Role HighlightsOpportunity to coordinate operations of international-level training facilities.Supporting the growth of the SA sport and recreation sector.Based at the brand new South Australian Sports Institute facility at Mile End.Role DetailsThe Manager, Venue Operations is responsible for the operationaloversight, strategic planning, and stakeholder coordination ofgovernment owned and managed venues to ensure they are safe,accessible, well-maintained, and support a diverse range ofcommunity, high performance, research, education, and commercialactivities. The role provides leadership in venues operations,contract and facilities management, event coordination, andcustomer experience, while ensuring compliance with relevantlegislation and policies.
