My client is seeking an experienced Building Approvals Coordinator to manage the pre-construction approvals process within the construction sector.This pivotal role involves ensuring all necessary permits, documentation, and regulatory requirements are accurately completed and approved prior to the commencement of construction.To support timely project delivery and maintain compliance with local planning laws and regulations, we are looking for a candidate with strong administrative capabilities and a keen eye for detail.Your RolePrepare and lodge all documentation required for building and planning approvals.Liaise with local councils.Coordinate responses to information requests and resolve any compliance issues or objections.Track and manage the status of all approvals, ensuring deadlines are met and communicating delays or issues proactively.Review all documentation for accuracy and completeness before submission.Ensure projects comply with applicable legislation, building codes.Provide regular updates to internal teams (sales, drafting, estimating, and construction).Maintain accurate records of all submissions, approvals, and correspondence.Contribute to continuous improvement of internal approval processes and documentation standards.What Youll BringFamiliarity with residential building codesStrong attention to detail and organisational skills.Good communication skills to deal with clients, government bodies, and consultants.Minimum 1 years experience in a similar role within residential construction or property development.BenefitsA supportive work environment.Opportunities for career progression in a growing company.Salary from $60,000 + Super depending on experience #J-18808-Ljbffr
