What you''ll doProvide advanced specialist nursing expertise in contemporary sexual health practice, particularly related to BBV/STI prevention and management.Offer expert nursing advice in developing, interpreting, implementing, and reviewing clinical guidelines impacting sexual health.Advise the Assistant Director of Nursing, BBV/STI Public Health Nursing Team, BBV/STI Unit leadership, colleagues, senior management, partners, and stakeholders regarding BBV/STI prevention, testing, treatment, and management.Develop, deliver, and evaluate projects, providing regular progress reports and ensuring they meet timeframes and budgets.Prepare timely reports, briefs, clinical guidelines, consumer materials, and publications for diverse audiences to a high standard.Support Public Health Units and Sexual Health Services in providing confidential contact tracing and public health management of notified BBV/STI cases, including XDR gonorrhoea.About youWe are seeking someone with:Proof of qualification and registration with the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Australia as a Registered Nurse and/or Midwife.
