Working with the Head of Finance and senior executives, this role supports fleet strategy, forecasting, and performance management.This position will ensure accurate and timely financial reporting and management of Aircraft Programs. It requires strong stakeholder management skills to support pipeline projects with cross-functional teams.The role also emphasizes commercial, financial, and strategic stewardship, risk management, stakeholder engagement, people management, cash flow oversight, and continuous improvement.Your responsibilities include:Managing project budgets end-to-end, including reforecasting and performance trackingPreparing and presenting project and executive reports promptlyEnsuring financial governance and internal controls across fleet projectsSupporting negotiations with suppliers and stakeholdersAssisting in RFA development for project investmentsBuilding relationships across the organizationBridging finance and business teams with clear communicationImplementing project controls and escalation processesSupporting investor relations and corporate communications on financial statusMentoring and coaching team members for growth and performanceQualifications and skills:7+ years relevant experience; tertiary qualifications in Commerce, Finance, or BusinessCPA/CA or equivalent financial certificationStrong stakeholder influence and communication skillsAbility to quickly grasp complex concepts in a business environmentResults-driven with a sense of urgencyExperience leading cross-functional teamsExcellent organizational and analytical skillsWhy Qantas?Join a passionate team that encourages creativity.
