We''re seeking a dynamic General Manager Operations for Region 4 to join our team and drive operational excellence. If you''re ready to lead, innovate, and make a real impact, this is the role for you!As the General Manager Operations, you''ll lead our Region 4 Operations, ensuring everything runs smoothly, safely, and on time. You''ll be the key leader for the operations teams, driving process improvements, collaborating with stakeholders, and delivering exceptional customer experiences.This role will be responsible for:Operational Management: Oversee weekly planning adjustments and manage disruptions to ensure safe and timely services. Handle unplanned services and customer needs for TfNSW regions, and review and submit TfNSW reports on time.Policy Implementation and Compliance: Implement and monitor company policies and procedures across operations teams, focusing on safety. Improve bus operations processes to meet regulatory compliance and client KPIs.Incident Management and Improvement: Investigate operational incidents and implement improvements to prevent recurrence. Manage operational KPI reporting and performance data, and initiate corrective actions as needed.Stakeholder and Workforce Management: Build and maintain professional relationships with key stakeholders. Manage the driver workforce plan, mitigate risks, and oversee the budget to meet financial targets.Leadership and Culture: Lead by example and support CDC managers and employees. Promote a health, safety, and environment culture, monitor HSE performance, and ensure resources and systems are adequate.We are seeking a proven leader who is accountable and strategic. You should excel in contract management, decision-making, negotiation, and stakeholder coordination. Attention to detail, task prioritization, and the ability to drive accountability and build effective teams are essential. Experience in transport is preferred.Why Join Us?
