Maintain strong relationships through effective communication and negotiation across Treasury, NSW Government and other key stakeholders, to drive engagement in policy development and implementation and inform executive decision making. Provide high quality analysis and advice to government, and delivering effective presentations to communicate policy change, support effective policy implementation, and build public sector capability in evidence production.The role may include independent research, project management, quantitative modelling, or general public policy advice.You will be joining our Economic Strategy & Productivity Group and will be working within the Centre of Economic Evidence Division in the Investment and Evaluation (I&EP) branch The branch implements the NSW Government Investment Framework, guiding how government initiatives are developed, appraised, and evaluated. In this branch, you will support agencies to develop high-quality evidence to support investment in their initiatives, by developing frameworks (i.e. the Investment, the Disaster CBA, Carbon Value, and the Value of Statistical Life frameworks); guidelines (i.e. Cost-Benefit Analysis, Business Case, Evaluation, and Benefits Realisation Management); and associated technical notes. Importantly, you will play an active role in communicating and building public sector capability to use these frameworks and guidelines effectively.
