IER is excited to announce the establishment of a new office in Perth, driven by our commitment to enhancing service delivery to our existing clients and effectively meeting the growing demand across Western Australia.Job Opportunity:Senior Consultant Major EventsAs part of a strategic decision to provide greater engagement with our clients in Western Australia, the newly created Senior Consultant Major Events role will be responsible for ensuring the delivery of high-quality reports and insights for our clients. The role includes managing relationships, business development, reporting on organisational performance and collaborating with the partners of the business to realise IERs vision.Key Responsibilities:Manage and deliver a range of major event studies for the sports, cultural and entertainment sectors.Lead client relationships and identify areas of growth for the business.Manage the response to RFQs and have a strong engagement in broader business development opportunities within Western AustraliaWorking with IERs team (data analysts and consultants) to deliver world-class major events evaluations.Oversee the data collection, analysis, economic modelling, and report writing processes of individual projects.Work closely with clients and stakeholders within the sports, cultural and business events sectors to understand their strategic priorities.Continue to innovate IERs capabilities and enhance IERs reputation as a trusted source for data and insights to drive decision making.Develop analytics reports that guide our revenue strategies and measure the impact of this sector on the business.Requirements:Strong data and analytical skills and a keen eye for insights, trends and identifying strategic opportunity.Experience working in (or with) the sporting and/or cultural events sectors.Strong communication and client service skills.Expert knowledge of project management fundamentals.Competent and confident with developing relationships and business development.Capability of working independently and as part of a team.Experience in gathering stakeholder requirements.Solid functional knowledge, including but not limited to strategy, project management etc.Strong stakeholder engagement and relationship management skills, with a demonstrated ability to work with varying external and internal stakeholders with a high level of communication.Strong MS Excel and MS PowerPoint skills required.What You''ll Gain:5 weeks of annual leave.Competitive salary ranging from $110k - $125kOpportunity to work on some of Western Australia''s most exciting events.Flexible working arrangements.Location:This role will be based in PerthTo Apply:Please ensure that your application addresses the key criteria outlined in this job advertisement.
