This position is part of our New Product Development (NPD) department at Bells Creek with occasional travel to our corporate office in Birtinya as needed. Reporting to the NPD Manager, this role presents an exciting opportunity for a skilled Food Technologistpreferably with experience in raw and cooked meat proteins and ready-made meal solutionsto manage and oversee the entire NPD lifecycle, from initial concept through to commercialisation.ABOUT THE ROLEContributing to the successful execution of the KCS strategy by implementing food solution activities, driving change initiatives, and collaborating with business unitsDeveloping recipes for NPD products across Kilcoy Cuisine SolutionsLeading and managing both in-house and external trials for NPDEnsuring that developed products are both cost-effective and commercially viablePreparing NPD summaries, reports, and providing input on raw material and finished goods specificationsOverseeing product validation activities, such as cooking, packaging, and shelf-life testingLeading communication with key internal and external stakeholders on ingredients, samples, PDS, SL, costs, etc.Supporting the commercial team with samples, addressing customer queries, and preparing customer presentationsDriving continuous improvement in the development of new procedures, systems, and processesAssisting the NPD Manager with proactive, collaborative third-party research studiesLeading and managing NPD projects within the Food Solutions divisionAdvocating for and implementing the stage gate process while engaging cross-functional teamsABOUT USAbout Kilcoy Global FoodsKilcoy Global Foods is a multi-award-winning global foods solutions business, renowned for exceptional quality and innovation.
