Job Description Summary Service Stream''s Telecommunications division is seeking skilled and unskilled labourers as a Telecommunications worker to join our growing company. Primary Location VIC - Ferntree Gully About The Role As part of this role, if not already obtained, you will gain experience and competencies including but not limited to: Licence to Operate a Boom-Type Elevating Work Platform (Boom Length 11 Metres or More) [WP]; Working safely at Heights; Working safely near live electrical apparatus as a non-electrical worker; Implement traffic management plan; Provide First Aid and Perform Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR). Position Details Type: Permanent full time Location: VIC Reporting Line: Field Supervisor Key Responsibilities In this role, you will primarily be responsible for building, maintaining, and decommissioning telecommunication networks, including but not limited to Optus, Uecomm, NBN, Telstra, TPG, Telco Authorities, and Power Utility. Your responsibilities include: Working onsite/in field as part of one or multiple crews daily. Working from ladders & EWPs (Elevated Work Platforms). Willingness to be part of a rostered-on call availability, including working outside normal hours. Willingness to work away from home occasionally. Communicating/reporting on scheduled work changes to Field Supervisor. Participating in site start-up activities. Coordinating with related third parties such as landowners and regulatory authorities. About You To be successful, you should ideally possess: A construction white card (preferred, but can be obtained). A current driver''s license. Civil labouring experience.
