THE ROLEReporting to the Wellness & Hygiene Manager, you will be responsible for helping to keep our beautiful Scape CBD properties clean and safe. An average day will involve cleaning public areas (including common rooms, lounges, theatre, outdoor terraces, gym, laundry, corridors, and stairwells), connecting with residents and team members, and planning activities to enhance cleanliness and aesthetics. You may also assist with weekly room cleaning and bed-making for residents.Shifts are mainly weekdays Monday to Friday, 8 am to 4 pm, with weekends if required.This is a hands-on Housekeeping Supervisor role, working closely with your team to maintain high standards.Your primary responsibilities include:Overseeing daily cleaning and presentation of public areas, including bathrooms, lounges, theatre, meeting rooms, reception, gym, laundry, and corridors.Ensuring compliance with health and safety obligations.Supervising cleaning of departure and stayover apartments.Assisting with stock ordering, control, chemical handling, and procurement.Managing the housekeeping store.Supporting staff rostering, training, and administrative duties.THE IDEAL CANDIDATEWe seek an engaging, driven Housekeeping Supervisor with the following skills and experience:Knowledge of WH&S best practices.Experience in a housekeeping department.Hands-on ability to assist with room and public area cleaning, and conducting room checks/audits.Immaculate personal presentation.Ability to prioritize and multitask.Outgoing and confident personality.Ability to relate to young adults while maintaining professionalism, cultural sensitivity, and boundaries.WHO WE ARE?Scapes vision is to be the Earths best living company.
