Permanent, Part time positions with set fortnightly rostersBased in Toowoomba in Residential SIL Home Care RolesAbout the role:We are seeking experienced and passionate Disability Support Workers to join our dedicated team in Toowoomba. If you have a genuine commitment to making a positive impact in the lives of people with disabilities and are flexible with working various shifts, including mornings, afternoons, overnights (minimum 2 per fortnight), and weekends, we would love to hear from you!Working within our SIL(Supported Independant Living)homes, you will support people with disabilities to live as independently as possible.In this role you will be based in Residential care home sites in Toowoomba caring for the disabled clients, providing daily personal care, using manual handling tools and managing any complex behaviours. Ideal applicant will have Cert 3 Qualification (Desirable) and experience with SIL home Environment and with complex behaviour.Your key duties will include:Helping people achieve their NDIS goals by developing daily skills such as housekeeping, personal care, social skills, and budgeting.Assisting with personal care as required, meal planning, cooking, light cleaning, and facilitating community connections.Supporting daily activities, such as going for walks, attending movies, or accompanying appointments.Helping maintain connections with family, friends, and services.What We Look For:Preferred but not essential: Certificate III in Individual Support (Disability).Experience and empathy in providing high-quality support in a SIL environment or with complex disabilities while fostering independence for clients.Flexibility to work various shifts, including days, evenings, early mornings, weekends, and sleepovers.Physical capability for manual handling tasks.Why Join Us?Salary Packaging Benefits: Package up to $15,900 of your annual salary tax-free, increasing your take-home pay.
