This is a hands-on role where your technical skills, safety focus, and attention to detail will directly contribute to the success of major projects across mining sector.Key ResponsibilitiesCarry out repairs, overhauls, and maintenance of underground mining equipment with a focus on safety and quality.Interpret technical drawings and schematics accuratelyOperate workshop machinery and hand tools safely and efficientlyCollaborate with team members to ensure seamless project deliveryAlways uphold strong safety and quality assurance standardsWHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR:Trade qualification as a Mechanical Fitter (Cert III or equivalent)Experience in heavy industrial, mining, or manufacturing environmentsStrong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving abilityAbility to fault find and inspect equipment.Reliable transport and C class licenceKnowledge regarding machines such as Continuous Miners & Underground Shuttle Cars and their componentsAbility to read and understand engineering drawings and hydraulic schematicsAbility to read and interpret engineering drawingsCommitment to workplace health and safetyA team-oriented mindset and excellent communication skillsThink you know Ampcontrol?
