In this dynamic role, you will collaborate with Engineering teams, Service Technicians, and customers to test and adjust electrical, mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems and components. Support will be provided verbally and in writing.Locations available include Perth, Adelaide, Sydney, Brisbane, or Mt Isa, Queensland.Why Join Normet?Work for a renowned Global OEM in an industry-leading team.Full-time permanent position, 7am - 3pm, Monday to Friday.Training and professional development, including global training programs.Work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment with a supportive team.Employee Benefits Program Thrive perks, discounts, and cashback incentives.Employee Assistance Program for you and your family.Employee Engagement Survey We Care to understand and act on your needs.Recognition awards for tenure and team contributions aligned with company values.About YouTrade Qualifications in Auto-Electrical, Hydraulics, Diesel Fitting, or Licensed Electrician are essential; dual trades are highly regarded.Extensive diagnostic and repair experience with Normet equipment or similar is essential.3-5 years proven experience in a similar role, with extensive underground mining experience.Excellent communication, problem-solving, and organizational skills.High-level knowledge of electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems related to Normet equipment or similar.Basic understanding of shotcreting, spraying, and charging processes (non-qualified).Self-driven, detail-oriented, and excellent time management skills.Ability to adapt to changing environments and work independently.Highly organized, flexible, proactive, with a positive attitude.Flexibility to participate in a roster including weekends and interstate travel.The successful candidate must have full working rights in Australia, pass a pre-employment medical, and obtain a National Police Clearance before starting.Key ResponsibilitiesProvide technical expertise, fault diagnosis, and support to ensure machine performance and serviceability.Collaborate with engineering and service teams to test and adjust systems and components.Develop work instructions, SOPs, and documentation for operations, service, and repair.Act as an OEM expert during incident investigations and liaise with customers.Develop operational risk assessments for internal and customer use.Inspect, repair, and overhaul Normet equipment to OEM standards at workshops and mine sites.Ensure quality and documentation standards are met in all work.Ready to make an impact?
