This role is ideal for a sales professional with proven experience in the vehicle hire sector, has a hunter mindset and thrives on driving revenue growth by acquiring new business and expanding existing accounts.As a Business Development Manager, you will expand our corporate customer base by identifying and pursuing new business opportunities, predominantly within the channel of small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs).Key Responsibilities:Proactively identify, pursue and convert new sales opportunities to achieve revenue targets and support the companys growth objectives.Prepare and present tailored proposals and tenders to clients and effectively negotiate and manage new agreements and contracts to ensure mutually beneficial terms.Respond to customer enquiries and provide accurate quotes and advice on hire solutions in a timely and professional manner.Build and maintain strong relationships with key clients to generate new, repeat and referral business.Liaise with clients to develop an in-depth understanding of their needs and collaborate with internal teams to deliver a seamless rental experience.Conduct market research and analysis to identify trends, risks, customers needs and competitor activities in an evolving economy and propose recommendations to the management team.Work closely with the SA state manager and local operational staff to identify and engage with new clients, develop the sales pipeline and execute on the regions growth strategy.Maintain accurate records of sales activity and pipeline via CRM (Salesforce).Monitor financial performance and trends of current accounts and develop actionable initiatives to maximize revenue.Represent the company at industry events, conferences and networking opportunities.What Were Looking For:Proven experience within the vehicle hire industry with an established network of contacts.A hunter mentality with demonstrated business development skills and ability to proactively generate and convert new sales leads.Excellent communication and negotiation skills with the ability to engage with stakeholders across all levels.Strong commercial acumen with the ability to ask the right questions and offer suitable solutions.Effective problem solver adept at lateral thinking and unwavering attention to detail.Comprehensive knowledge and understanding of industry products, services and terms.Proficiency in the use of CRM software (Salesforce), rental industry software (Cobra experience advantageous) and Microsoft Office suite of products.Thrives in working both autonomously and collaboratively within a team.Benefits:Theres up to 30% off SIXT rentals around the world for you, and up to 25% off SIXT rentals globally for your family and friends - but that''s just the tip of the iceberg.
