You will be required to provide daily oversight, as well as work with the broader business to facilitate and implement the decisions made by the Investment Services team.Day To Day, You''llManage internal and external stakeholders to ensure the efficient and accurate delivery of capital markets trades, oversight of collateral management, and delivery by the futures clearer to the custodian all to time-critical, complete, and accurate standards.Manage the delivery and reconciliation of OTC derivative trades to trade repositories to ensure compliance obligations are reliably met.Design, prepare, test, plan, and execute system tests so that the Capital Markets trading system delivers to the business requirements.Consistently deliver optimal service through the provision of regular reporting and attending to queries in a timely and professional manner.Identify opportunities for process improvements, and using structured commercial thinking, recommend efficiencies that may improve current practices.Liaise with internal and external auditors and assurance providers.Manage or provide key technical input to business projects with an outcome-oriented focus.Assist in the onboarding of new investments/investment managers in line with agreed delivery and reporting timeframes.This role is a permanent opportunity.About YouIt goes without saying you''ll be a great communicator with top-notch interpersonal skills. You might also tick some of the following boxes:A relevant qualification in finance, mathematics, business, commerce, or economics.Highly developed communication skills, including the ability to effectively communicate and negotiate in writing and verbally with business and technical personnel.Experience in investment operations or fund accounting roles, including investment accounting and/or trading systems, particularly derivatives and money markets.Ability to manage and direct a range of competing priorities, considering short and long-term business needs.Knowledge of Fixed Income, Over-the-Counter Derivatives, and Traded Derivative instruments.Knowledge of and/or the ability to rapidly acquire knowledge of valuation principles for listed and unlisted instruments.Understanding of financial instruments (physical and derivatives) such as money market and fixed interest securities, futures, and forward FX contracts, particularly in relation to their usage within portfolio management, and their underlying mechanics (transaction lifecycle and valuation methodologies).Advanced technology skills (e.g., advanced spreadsheets, familiarity with systems integration, relational databases, and automated workflows), including the ability to specify and prototype business requirements and processes (e.g., data flow diagrams).About UsOur 2.4 million members trust us to take care of over $330 billion in retirement savings.
