It manages external, digital and internal communications, and delivers ASIC''s consumer education and Moneysmart.This role sits in the Corporate Affairs team in the CCA Group, which is accountable for consumer communications, including Moneysmart, and CCA''s strategy.The roleAs ASICs Consumer Communications and Projects Lead, you will: Contribute to the development and delivery of the consumer communications strategy aligned with ASICs strategic priorities and the MoneySmart program. Lead and deliver integrated, consumer-focused projects and campaigns, including the MoneySmart external communications plan. Manage relationships with creative agencies to deliver innovative, informative and engaging communications projects. Collaborate with internal communications teams to design and deliver impactful campaigns. Identify and executive media relations activities, manage ASICs consumer and investor media engagement, write media releases, pitches, spokesperson briefings, thought leadership, and social content, working closely with the Senior Manager Consumer Campaigns and Content. Use research, insights and performance analytics to inform campaign planning and optimisation, and oversee budgets, timelines and deliverables in line with ASIC policies.About youYou will have tertiary qualifications in communications, marketing or a related field, alongside 68 years experience in communications, media or public relations, ideally across digital, social and traditional platforms.You will have demonstrated success managing end-to-end consumer campaigns, preferably within an agency, consumer brand financial services or government organisation or. A solid grasp of the Australian media landscape, track record of writing and pitching compelling stories, and strong project management will be key to your success. Experience in financial services will be highly regarded (but is not essential).You will be a strategic thinker and skilled communicator with the ability to lead projects and produce high-quality content across multiple channels. You will thrive in a fast-paced environment, using sound judgement to manage competing priorities.
