As the face of the company to clients and passengers, you will prioritize safety and customer needs in all tasks.The successful candidate for this role is required to hold an Australian Drivers license (Provisional license as a minimum, e.g., Red P''s) and pass a pre-employment medical prior to training and employment.Key Responsibilities of a Ramp Officer:Perform Ramp functions including marshalling aircraft on the ramp (e.g., directing, assisting, and parking all arriving, departing, and towed aircraft)Transfer cargo (including luggage) to other gates, airlines, and passengersHandle customer baggage, airfreight, and company materials courteously, promptly, accurately, and carefully; including lifting, loading/unloading, sorting, and transferring baggage, freight, and materialsEnsure compliance with all uniform & PPE requirements and manage GSEEnsure the safe and secure operation of all equipmentTest all relevant equipment for serviceability before each shiftDesired Skills and ExperienceThe ideal candidate:Holds a valid Aviation Security Identification Card (ASIC) or ability to obtain oneUnderstands the importance of achieving on-time performance safely and efficientlyHas excellent organization and time management skillsCan multi-task, prioritize, and meet deadlinesProvides exceptional customer serviceAdapts to changing priorities and situationsWorks well in a fast-paced team environmentCommunicates effectively and influences stakeholdersProficient in report writing in clear EnglishAligns with our company values: Safety, Accountability, Customer Service, Innovation, TeamworkOn Offer:Be part of a family-oriented business where you are truly valuedOngoing training and development through in-house programsDiscounts and benefits across travel, retail, lifestyle, and more, from companies like SpecSavers, Contiki Holidays, Hello Fresh, Koala Furniture, and othersNote: Due to high application volume, only those progressing to the next recruitment stage will be contacted. #J-18808-Ljbffr
