In this pivotal role, you will coordinate key operational activities across a diverse portfolio of projects including a major RICF-funded initiative supporting the delivery of critical outcomes that shape Australia''s environmental research landscape.Working closely with the Associate Director (Operations), you will have the opportunity to design and implement project plans, drive performance monitoring, produce high-quality reporting, manage project budgets, and engage with a broad network of internal and external stakeholders. If you are passionate about project excellence, thrive in a fast-paced setting, and want to make a meaningful impact, we invite you to apply.Key responsibilities will include:Coordinate and support all phases of project delivery for TERN Australia initiatives, including project planning, monitoring, evaluation, and reporting to ensure successful outcomes.Develop, track, and maintain project documentation, budgets, reporting templates, stakeholder communications, and post-project evaluations to meet internal and external requirements.Engage and liaise effectively with key stakeholders, collaborators, and funders to support project activities, governance processes, and committee or steering group operations.Manage financial transactions and expenditure tracking for a wide range of project activities, ensuring alignment with budgets and contributing to accurate and timely financial reporting.AboutTERN AustraliaResearch on Australias complex terrestrial and coastal ecosystems is essential for understanding where, how and why Australias environment changes over time and the scale at which change occurs. The Terrestrial Ecosystem Research Network, now more commonly referred to as TERN Australia, delivers the macroscale infrastructure needed to support such research.
