About The Role As a Test Automation Engineer, you will build automation solutions aligned with quarterly goals, integrate with Tyro''s custom CI/CD platform, and troubleshoot test failures. Based in Sydney, you will report to the Test Automation Lead. What You''ll Do Architect, design, and build test automation frameworks and tools for use across Tyro engineering. Deliver quarterly objectives and collaborate with squads on automation deliverables. Utilize knowledge of Playwright, K6, WebdriverIO, Appium, Kotlin, RestAssured, Docker, Kubernetes. Optional: experience with React/NodeJS web apps for test automation tooling. Develop reusable frameworks for web, mobile, and API automation. Enhance CI/CD practices, integrating tests into each build using ArgoCD and Github Actions. Work closely with engineering leads and architects to evolve automation strategies. What You''ll Bring Bachelors in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field, or equivalent experience. Passion for building top-tier test automation frameworks and tools. Experience collaborating with QA engineers, developers, and stakeholders. Confidence to challenge ideas and drive automation initiatives. Ability to embed quality throughout the software development lifecycle. Knowledge of automation opportunities and testing frameworks. Comfort with AWS and cloud-based testing environments. Understanding of CI/CD pipelines and testing integration. Nice to have: experience with API, UI, and mobile test automation frameworks. Whats in it for you?
