Thiess is the place to make things happen.Mount Pleasant Operation is a mine based in Muswellbrook NSW.About The RoleWe are seeking an experienced Supervisor, Drill and Blast to control blasting operations on-site and coordinate drilling activities at Mount Pleasant Operation. Following a 5/4, 4/5, 5/5 Day Shift Lifestyle Roster, you will provide effective safety leadership to the drill and blast crew, ensuring production targets are met, maintaining a safe and healthy workforce, and adhering to community & environmental compliance.Thiess at Mount Pleasant delivers mine planning, overburden and coal removal, and drill and blast services for our client. The operation predominantly involves on-seam blasting utilizing electronic initiating products.Your duties will include:Leading safe, efficient, and effective blasting operations.Working towards cost optimisation through effective utilization and care of plant and personnel.Leading, training, and developing the Blast Crew.Maximising drilling and blasting production targets and efficiencies in a cost-effective manner.About YouJoining our team offers the opportunity to develop a strong performance culture that values everyone''s contribution.
