We work closely with our stakeholders to help them understand their cost bases and deliver current and future strategic and financial plans.Technology Finances mission is to influence strategic outcomes through transparent insights and passionate people.Your team forms part of the wider Technology Finance Team of approximately 90 people and provides financial management, planning and controls services to Group and Business Unit CIOs.Key responsibilities will include:This role is responsible for assisting the Senior Manager with providing financial support and partnering to Engineering and Cloud business in Chief Technology Office. The Chief Technology Office (CTO) is the infrastructure backbone of the bank and supports all our businesses to deliver for our customers. CTO domains include GTS, Cloud, Engineering Tooling and Service Management. GTS provide critical foundational technology services covering Hosting, Data Centres and Mainframe, Secure Network Services, and End User Experience (EUX).The Business Partnering Analyst will work with the Business Partnering Managers and Business Partnering Senior Manager, to deliver the following across the Technology business:Act as a key point of contact for Technology in relation to financial performanceWorking with the COE offshore finance team to maintain robust financial control through:Processing of month end journals and P&L analysisBalance sheet analysis, substantiation and reconciliationProcess improvement, standardisation, and simplificationPreparation, presentation and monitoring of annual budgets and rolling forecasts following extensive engagement with key stakeholdersDrive insightful reporting and analysis, including presentation of month end resultsProduction of discussion documents on key business issues for respective leadership teamsEngage collaboratively across Finance and Business stakeholders to help drive business outcomes, enhance cost transparency and become a trusted advisorProvide financial support for both BAU and investment related activitiesWe''re interested in hearing from people who haveStrong accounting and financial skills;Strong financial modelling and analytical skills;Broad stakeholder engagement skills;Knowledge of the financial services and / or technology industry, including technology developments that are impacting Financial ServicesMinimum of two years experience in Public Practice or in Commercial finance experience, ideally within a large corporate in Financial Services and/or TechnologyIf you would like to hear more about this role please apply!If you''re already part of the Commonwealth Bank Group (including Bankwest, x15ventures), you''ll need to apply through Sidekick to submit a valid application.
