Our diversity helps us provide the best support possible to carers, families, children and young people and all of our external stakeholders.A little about the roleReporting directly to the Director of Practice, Safeguarding and Marketing, this role will see you drive, influence and support the implementation and embedding of Key Asset Australias (KAA) Practice Framework and evidence-based, trauma informed and culturally safe practice methodologies and policies.Some of the key responsibilities include:Build the expertise and capacity of jurisdictional partners in training and professional development activities including coaching, mentoring and supervision of operational staff in the KAA practice framework.Champion practice excellence across KAA and enable a whole of organisation approach to evidence and trauma informed child safeguarding practice.Work in partnership with Chrysalis (our internal Transformation Hub) and the KAA Young Persons Working Group to develop innovative approaches that ensure the voices of children, families and carers is centred in our work, and our practice enables accountability and connection.Work with the Director of PSM to articulate, develop and embed KAA''s Practice Governance Framework, and with the Safeguarding Partner to identify practice improvement opportunities.The base salary for this position is $120,000 - $129,000 /annum (based on 1.0EFT) + super + salary packaging options up to $15,900 per annum. This position is full-time ongoing.You can be based at any of our offices, nationally!About youTo be successful in this role, you will come with extensive knowledge and experience working with children and young people who have experienced trauma, and of child and family service systems and government practices and procedures.You will also come with:A bachelors degree in social work, psychology or related discipline.Extensive experience in practice leadership and/or clinical leadership in the safeguarding or community services sector.Demonstrated ability in developing and delivering training to community services operational staff in practice related areas.Prior experience in providing coaching, mentoring and reflective practice to senior leaders, clinicians and other professionals in a way that encourages learning.Strong interpersonal skills, emotional intelligence and engagement skills.Ability to participate collaboratively and constructively in both leadership and participant roles.My Key AssetsThe health and wellbeing of our people is at the core of our employee and client experience.
