This role will build on the existing culture of continuous improvement in the organisation and demonstrate a commitment for the Charters Towers local government area, its people and the future.Functionally the role of Chief Executive Officer exercises overall responsibility for the operations of Council as laid out and in compliance with the Local Government Act 2009.As such the role supports the development and implementation of Councils overall strategy including, the development of policy, oversight and financial management of the Council together with communication and promotion of Councils policies and procedures to the community.About YouThis is a unique opportunity and one which will suit an individual seeking a rewarding and challenging role in a community centric environment.
