GRNSW is a body corporate constituted by the Greyhound Racing Act 2017, and charged with providing strategic direction and leadership in the commercial management of the industry in NSW. In its role, GRNSW promotes the exciting racing aspect of the industry, as well as the equally important rehoming of our athletes.About the role!We are seeking a dynamic and commercially focused Chief Operating Officer (COO) to lead the operational direction of GRNSW in line with our Strategic Plan. This role plays a vital part in delivering strategic priorities and driving high-impact outcomes across business development, wagering, sponsorships, infrastructure, marketing, and more.As a key member of the Executive Team, the COO will set the tone for performance, innovation, and operational excellencebalancing stakeholder needs while ensuring GRNSW remains agile, accountable, and sustainable.About the responsibilities:Lead major operational portfolios including Business Development, Wagering, Sponsorships, Marketing & Media, Major Projects, Track Infrastructure, and Stakeholder Engagement.Champion the execution of the GRNSW Strategic Plan with clarity, purpose, and accountability.Work alongside the CEO and Executive Team to drive a culture of excellence across planning, delivery, and performance.Deliver operational strategies that promote growth, integrity, and innovation across the industry.Oversee the development of minimum track standards, new track builds, and upgrades to support racing excellence.Ensure efficient resource and financial management that maximises performance and return on investment.Build and lead high-performing teams aligned with GRNSWs values, ensuring KPIs and performance frameworks are embedded at all levels.Represent GRNSW across key industry, government, and community stakeholders with professionalism, insight, and integrity.Engage in intentional external partnerships to foster community collaboration and enhance the industrys reputation.Drive best practice across governance, ESG, legal compliance, and organisational risk management.Lead business reporting and project management frameworks that promote continuous improvement and transparency.About our Perks!Christmas holiday shutdown period for two weeks.5 for 4 weeks Annual Leave initiative.
