About The RoleReporting to the Procurement and Planning Manager, your main goal is effective inventory planning, which includes aligning with customer demand, optimising inventory levels, and coordinating raw material procurement. You will maximise customer service, ensure production efficiency, and support business growth, while managing demand variability, supply chain disruptions, costs, and collaboration challenges. Key Responsibilities For This Role Include Monitoring and purchasing rod stocks to achieve production plans. Ensuring stock balances at all remote depots meet forecasted customer demand to satisfy sales and customer expectations. Preparing inputs for the long-term Sales and Operations planning process. Identifying and resolving constraints or opportunities, escalating as required. Preparing and coordinating the business inventory plan. Preparing budget spends for vendors as input to the Wire business annual budgets and monitoring them. Identifying opportunities to optimise inventory levels and reduce costs. Candidate Requirements Experience in procurement or supply chain roles. Hands-on experience with SAP or other ERP software. Advanced Microsoft Excel skills. High attention to detail. Ability to handle repetitive tasks (monthly and weekly planning cycles). Strong prioritisation skills to meet deadlines. Certificate IV or Degree in Supply Chain or Planning (highly desirable).
