You can see some of our current projects here.Your roleAs the Senior Global Mobility Specialist, you will manage ILM Sydneys immigration and global mobility programs, ensuring compliance with international rules and regulations related to immigration, tax, and relocation. Your responsibilities include coordinating expatriate assignments, immigration, tax compliance, and relocation logistics, supporting the companys global talent strategy, and collaborating with stakeholders to ensure adherence to relevant laws and policies.What will you be doing?Execute end-to-end processes for international assignments, including relocation, visas, and tax services, in partnership with Disney Legal, Disney tax, and external vendors.Maintain detailed case files for each foreign worker/traveler and facilitate communication with stakeholders such as TWDC HR/GM, Local HR, Talent Managers.Assess candidate eligibility and work authorization documents, providing pre-assessment reports outlining immigration and tax pathways, timelines, and risks.Develop strategies for high-volume foreign worker intake, considering candidate profiles, job roles, wages, and timelines.Mitigate risks related to immigration and global mobility by navigating inbound US restrictions, border closures, and country-specific requirements, creating individualized Global Mobility Plans.Manage timelines and processes for intra-company transfers, temporary assignments, contractors, and business travelers.Maintain global mobility policies and procedures for the Sydney studios.Advise productions on international rules and regulations to ensure compliance.Build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders in Global Mobility, Immigration, HR, Production, and external vendors like Fragomen and KPMG.Skills and QualificationsAdvanced knowledge of employment-based immigration programs, policies, and procedures, with understanding of Disney Legal policies.Ability to adapt to complex changes in the global immigration landscape.Client-centered approach with proactive communication skills.Proficiency in Google Apps, Microsoft Office, and similar tools.Excellent attention to detail and strong written/verbal communication skills.Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment and troubleshoot effectively.Discretion in handling sensitive information.Ideally 5+ years of experience.Bachelor''s Degree and Registered Migration Agent status.Bonus: 3-5 years experience in the Production industry, with familiarity with industry roles and terminology.This position is with Lucasfilm Entertainment Company Ltd.
