About the RoleWe are seeking an experienced and professional Housekeeping Supervisor to join our dynamic team at Kingfisher Bay Resort on beautiful K''gari. The position requires a positive and motivated leader with a proven track record in delivering high housekeeping standards.Reporting to the Housekeeping Manager, you must be passionate about creating a skilled and positive team environment and prioritise the delivery of a premium guest experience.Do you want to live and work on a beautiful island at Kingfisher Bay Resort?Do you have 2 years or more experience as a supervisor?If you said yes - then we want to hear from you!This is a permanent part-time position, working up to 76 hours per fortnight. The successful candidate is available for an immediate start and must be able to relocate to the island for this "live-on" position.Key Role ResponsibilitiesSupporting the Housekeeping Manager with workforce management, administration, rostering, and operational service of the entire housekeeping department.Supervise and perform various cleaning duties of hotel rooms and apartments in compliance with resort standards.Monitor and maintain the cleanliness of guest rooms and provide necessary training to staff to ensure standards are met.Supervise and provide mentorship to team leaders.Monitor the disposal of laundry and garbage and recycle items where necessary.Ensure policies and procedures are adhered to, including compliance of maintenance and HSE reporting.RequirementsMinimum 2 years experience in a housekeeping supervisor role in a similar environment and meticulous attention to detail.Demonstrated ability to work in a close team environment.Current Australian drivers license (preferred).Previous hotel or resort cleaning experience.Demonstrated ability to prioritise and organise multiple tasks with a commitment to deliver results.Exceptional customer service skills.Proven ability to work under pressure and resolve problems.Experience in motivating team members to achieve targets and outcomes.The Benefits - conditions applyAffordable island living only $150.44 per week living expenses (includes 3 staff meals daily & accommodation).$1000 Annual SeaLink Employee Travel Allowance.Worldwide Heartist Bienvenue benefits.25% off resort dining, retail, and spa.Free Island 4WD bus tours.Free ferry transfers to-and-from the island.Access to resort facilities.Access to Employee Training Programs.About UsK''gari is a World Heritage listed island off Australias Eastern Queensland coast, the worlds largest sand island, stretching over 120 km.
