Data and analytics and the insights they provide are important to the way DVA provides services to veterans and their families. From ad-hoc requests for specific information to inform reporting and policy development, to cutting edge modelling to predict future trends, volume, costs, and program efficacy - data is increasingly central to everything we do.The purpose of the Data and Insights Branch is to evolve the way the department produces and uses data, analytics and research, to underpin evidence-based policy development, service delivery and wellbeing outcomes. The branch fosters a culture of curiosity in data and research, establishing processes that enable the department to better understand and serve the needs of veterans and their families.The key duties of the position includelead and develop structured insights and recommendations for the claims and related business areaslead and develop fact-based quantitative and qualitative analysis, including development of reports and related products from a broad range of data sourceslead and create materials for senior internal and external stakeholders, including the Minister, board and executive leadership team to communicate perspectives, recommendations and implications for the agencypresent recommendations and facilitating workshops and discussions with a range of agency stakeholders and senior leadershipcollaborate with and support business areas to structure problems, inform options and drive solutions and agency-wide priorities.#J-18808-Ljbffr
