GRNSW is a body corporate constituted by the Greyhound Racing Act 2017, and charged with providing strategic direction and leadership in the commercial management of the industry in NSW. In its role, GRNSW promotes the exciting racing aspect of the industry, as well as the equally important rehoming of our athletes.About the role!We are seeking a motivated Chief Racing Officer (CRO) to lead and drive excellence across Racing Operations, Revenue Maximisation, Grading & Programming, and Greyhound Club Licensing & Governance. This executive role will work closely with the CEO and Executive Team to shape the strategic direction for GRNSW and ensure the delivery of key initiatives with a values-based, agile approach.About the responsibilities:Lead and optimise Racing Operations, Revenue Maximisation, Grading, Club Governance and Track Curation to support GRNSWs strategic objectives.Collaborate with the CEO and Executive Team to champion and execute the strategic direction for greyhound racing in NSW.Drive effective stakeholder engagement, balancing the needs of internal teams and external partners, ensuring a long-term vision for greyhound racing.Lead the cultural tone of the organisation, fostering a high-performance, values-driven environment based on integrity, collaboration, accountability, respect, and excellence.Ensure resource management, including budget and asset oversight, aligns with organisational goals.Innovate and lead community engagement efforts to foster industry growth, sustainability, and positive social outcomes.Manage external relations with media partners, sponsors, and governments, ensuring a robust reputation and the growth of GRNSWs brand.Oversee the development and implementation of best practice governance, risk management, and continuous improvement processes.About our Perks!Christmas holiday shutdown period for two weeks.5 for 4 weeks Annual Leave initiative.
