This is a pivotal leadership role responsible for leading the organisations financial planning, budgeting and forecasting, functions. The Director of Finance will work closely with senior leadership to drive financial strategy, support data-driven decision-making, and ensure long-term financial sustainability.This role will be located inSt Leonards.With your skills and experience, you can contribute to the millions of ways were enriching health and develop your career as part of the largest health organisation in Australia.HealthShare NSW touches the lives of NSW Health employees and patients every single day by delivering services that keep our public hospitals and health facilities running.The Director of Finance will lead financial strategy and governance, ensuring data-driven insights guide strategic and operational decision making at HealthShare NSW. They will oversee budgeting, forecasting, and cash flow management to support operational and long-term goals. This role provides high-level financial recommendations to senior leadership and ensures full compliance with relevant financial regulations and reporting standards.This is an ongoing, full time, Band 1, Public Service Senior Executive HSSE role. An attractive remuneration package within the range of$217,997 to $242,100per annum, inclusive of superannuation.About youWe are seeking motivated and committed individuals who can support the work of NSW Health.The successful candidate will hold relevant tertiary and/or postgraduate qualifications in accountancy, finance, commerce, economics, or a related field. Membership with a recognised Australian accounting body is required. The individual we are looking for will bring an extensive track record in senior finance leadership (including budgeting, pricing, financial governance) and demonstrate deep knowledge of accounting principles and financial regulations.
