We are looking for an extremely friendly Sales Assistant to work on a part-time and full-time basis in stores throughout the Newcastle Region. The Successful Candidate Will Have: A real customer service focus with an ability to wow our customers Highly motivated and proactive attitude High integrity The ability to communicate effectively at all levels Composure under stress and pressure A determination to succeed An eye for detail A hands-on approach At least 2 years of experience working in a high-volume, disciplined retail environment Strong merchandising skills Commitment to the care of pets You must be reliable, willing to be flexible regarding working days and hours, and able to work unsupervised. Weekend work is required. As part of your responsibilities, you may need to lift heavy items (e.g., bags of dog food).
