Your Role at St John of God Health Care The Workforce team is seeking a Human Resource Officer to join us in a permanent full-time role. This position offers the opportunity to support managers and caregivers throughout their employment journey by delivering comprehensive transactional and advisory HR services to line managers and employees across all hospitals and services in Australia. As part of our team, you will collaborate with various stakeholders to ensure a streamlined, customer-focused, and efficient end-to-end HR service. In this role, you will: Process employment changes, resignations, reporting structures, and cost centre updates, ensuring accurate data entry in Workday (HRIS). Provide guidance on parental leave entitlements and support managers and caregivers in line with applicable EBAs and legislation. Interpret industrial instruments and offer timely expert advice on HR policies, procedures, employment terms and conditions, and entitlements. To succeed, you will have experience in a high-volume Human Resources environment, a strong understanding of industrial agreements, HR policies, relevant legislation, and the ability to multi-task in a fast-paced setting. Additionally, you will be committed to delivering outstanding service and continuous improvement. Workday experience is highly regarded. This role is ideal for HR professionals with 12 years of experience who are eager to develop their skills in a dynamic and supportive environment.
