Partner Account Executives work closely with Distributors, Ecosystem partners, Account Managers, Business Development teams, System/Solution Engineers, and other Cisco Channel team resources to ensure the success of the joint partnership. Your Impact As a Partner Account Executive for Cisco, your primary responsibility will be to drive revenue growth through our partners in the tier 2/2T route to market in Australia. You will work with your assigned Cisco Distributor to develop and grow a profitable business focused on Cisco Solutions. You will utilize your presentation and relationship-building skills to convey the Cisco value proposition to large groups of salespeople to influence mutual growth. You will also collaborate with inside and field sales teams to maximize partnership benefits. Successful candidates will possess strong critical thinking skills, executive presence, and an entrepreneurial spirit. This individual should advocate for the value that their Distributor(s) and partners bring to the market. You will develop executive and sales alignment to understand your Partner''s business model, profitability levers, and strategic objectives. What you will do: Develop and leverage executive distribution relationships to enhance Ciscos influence across all levels of the partnership. Generate enthusiasm for Cisco products among partner sales and engineering teams. Co-create differentiated solutions and build strong architecture practices. Build, deliver, and maintain quarterly business plans with your Distribution Partner. Develop and oversee marketing, sales plans, and incentive programs to drive sales. Coordinate sales and technical training for partners with subject matter experts. Manage communication and pipeline/deal flow between partner and Cisco sales teams. Handle EOQ/EOY order processing and be the key contact for tactical order management issues. Minimum Qualifications: 3+ years of sales and channel experience with a Manufacturer or Partner in the Technology Industry. Understanding of current industry trends in networking, automation, analytics, AI, and security. Good knowledge of Ciscos portfolio and market positioning. Ability to articulate the value of technology beyond technical specifications. Preferred Qualifications: Strong executive presence and financial acumen. Flexible personality for a geographically distributed environment. Excellent collaboration skills, especially leading virtual teams. Ability to work across sales and technology groups within distributors, partners, and Cisco.
