Role Overview As an Engineering Manager, you will lead a team of software engineers and product professionals in developing innovative solutions for our digital platform, supply chain automation, and patient experience. You will be responsible for guiding the team through architectural decisions, ensuring best engineering practices, and fostering a culture of collaboration and innovation. We''re open to candidates Australia wide for this role. What You Will Own Lead, mentor, and grow a team of engineers to deliver scalable and secure technology solutions. Drive technical strategy and architecture decisions for our digital platform and internal tools. Oversee the development and deployment of software systems, ensuring high performance and reliability. Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including product, medical, and operations, to align engineering goals with business objectives. Implement best practices in software development, security, and regulatory compliance within the medicinal cannabis space. Monitor system performance, troubleshoot issues, and optimize applications for efficiency. Stay ahead of emerging technologies and industry trends to drive innovation. What We Are Looking For 7+ years of software engineering experience, with at least 2+ years in a managerial or leadership role. Strong expertise in software development, with proficiency in Python, Django, Typescript, Node.js, and AWS. Strong knowledge of data security, privacy, and regulatory requirements, preferably in healthcare, fintech, or similarly regulated industries. Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work in a fast-paced startup environment.
