We provide enterprise risk management, compliance, training, and advisory services to over 350 customers across various industry sectors through our offices in APAC, USA, and Europe.The OpportunityReporting to the CFO, the Commercial Finance Manager will play a critical role in driving Protechts financial strategy and ensuring the company''s financial health. This role involves providing insights into revenue, sales performance, costs, profitability, and overall business performance.The manager will collaborate with cross-functional teams to enable data-driven decisions, enhance financial planning, and contribute to strategic growth within our SaaS model. This position is key to strategic planning and financial analysis for Protecht Group.What You''ll DoFinancial Planning & Analysis:Prepare, analyze, and maintain budgets, forecasts, and financial models for SaaS operations. Provide insights to inform decision-making.Revenue Recognition & Reporting:Track and report revenue streams, ensuring accurate recognition in line with SaaS accounting principles. Improve reporting processes for efficiency.Data Analysis & Insights:Analyze financial data to identify trends and variances; work with teams to ensure meaningful analysis.KPIs & Metrics Management:Monitor KPIs such as MRR, ARR, churn, and CAC. Review and align metrics with performance drivers.Cost & Profitability Analysis:Conduct cost-benefit analyses to evaluate business decisions and identify cost savings.Business Partnering:Collaborate with departments to align financial plans with business goals, including pricing strategies.Financial Reporting:Generate and present financial reports and strategic insights to leadership and the Board.Risk Management:Identify financial risks and develop mitigation strategies, ensuring compliance.Ad-hoc Analysis:Support leadership with additional financial analysis as needed.Leadership:Provide leadership within the Finance team, fostering continuous improvement.What Youll BringTertiary qualification in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related fieldMinimum 7 years of financial analysis experience, preferably in SaaS or techDeep understanding of SaaS financial metricsAdvanced skills in financial modeling, forecasting, and budgetingExperience with subscription pricing models and customer lifecycle metricsStrong financial commercial acumenProven experience in financial reporting to diverse groupsAdvanced Excel skills, including data analysis and complex modelingExcellent analytical and data-driven problem-solving skillsAbility to communicate complex financial info effectively to non-financial stakeholdersExperience with financial software or ERP systemsHigh attention to detail and accuracyStrong time management skills in a fast-paced environmentStrategic thinking and planning abilitiesStakeholder management skillsNice to HaveCPA, CFA, or similar certificationExperience in a fast-growth environmentWhy Protecht?Join a positive, friendly culture that values learning and growth.
