The role supports the consistent application of best practices in project management tools and systems, while leading a team of planners, schedulers, reporting analysts, and controllers in collaboration with internal and external stakeholders.Specialist services include:Developing and leading the PMO strategy across multiple projects.Governing project control systems such as Primavera P6, MS Project, ARES PRISM (Contruent), and PowerBI.Overseeing scheduling, cost control, risk management, and performance reporting.Managing tools transition and upgrades, e.g., Primavera SaaS migration.Establishing and maintaining centralized project schedules and reporting systems.Coordinating resource mobilization for major project ramp-ups and bids.Training and mentoring teams on planning tools and processes.Aligning internal methodologies with client PMO requirements.Leading change control processes, including schedule baselining and forecasting.Delivering program-level reports and dashboards for leadership and clients.Driving innovation in project controls technology and data-driven decision-making.Championing PMO standards and continuous improvement initiatives.Engaging stakeholders remotely and on-site.Supporting tender submissions with planning insights and resource strategies.This role can be based in Sydney, Brisbane, Perth, or Melbourne.About YouWe seek an experienced PMO Manager with 15+ years in project planning, scheduling, and controls within infrastructure or engineering projects, including:Proven leadership of PMO or controls teams across multidisciplinary projects.Experience with major public infrastructure and engineering projects, including alliance contracts.Deep understanding of cost, schedule, and risk integration.Strong background in system implementation and training.Experience managing remote and cross-geographical teams.Excellent communication skills and cross-cultural collaboration.Strategic thinker with hands-on technical expertise.Analytical, data-driven, with a mindset for continuous improvement.Leadership presence with mentoring abilities.Comfortable in agile and structured PMO environments.High integrity and relationship-building focus.Masters or Bachelors degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or related field.PMI membership (CAPM, PMP in progress).Formal training in Primavera P6, PowerBI, or similar systems.Propel Your Career ForwardWe are proud to be recognized as the 49th fastest-growing company in Australia.
